The Heart of Hello Mental Health
What is Hello Mental Health?
A super compassionate mental health practice. Every person on our team has loads of skill and even more heart. We all chose to enter this field because it is our calling and we feel lucky to be able to help people for a living.
What services do you offer?
We offer individual therapy for adolescents and adults, couples’ therapy, group therapy, and Hello Circles coaching groups. Our clinicians each have different specialty areas including treatment for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, substance use, eating disorders, relationship issues, multicultural issues, and men and women’s issues. We are an open and inclusive practice and welcome all people to explore our services.
In addition to our clinical services, I also offer business coaching for small private practice owners who are launching or scaling their practices.
Who's behind it?
Dr. Bailey C. Bryant- licensed clinical psychologist, serial entrepreneur, shameless dog mom.
It feels a little odd to describe myself but I’ll give it a go- I’m a person with a huge heart, a zest for life, and an outlandish sense of humor. I’m always picking up new hobbies and my current interests are house plants, fantasy novels, candle making and astrology.
What's the inspiration behind it?
To boil it down the inspiration is all about supporting great people who are delivering great care. Being surrounded by phenomenal humans lights me up and something magical happens when you get multiple extraordinary people in a room together and give them the space and resources to do their best work.
I started Hello Mental Health in 2016 after feeling burnt out from my previous job working for an agency. There were things I loved about agency life like working next to a team of remarkable clinicians, but the environment stifled creativity and gradually depleted the staff making it hard for them to consistently show up as their best selves.
My goal in forming Hello Mental Health was to provide myself and other wonderful people the environment we need to flourish. Truly the whole has become greater than the sum of its parts and we continue to grow in ways I never anticipated.
Can you share more about the Hello Circles?
We created Hello Circles to solve three issues facing our community- a lack of available mental health providers, the high cost of mental health services, and feelings of isolation. Hello Circles address all three of these! Hello Circles are coaching groups facilitated by licensed mental health professionals who offer psychoeducation and skills to navigate life circumstances. Meeting in a small group allows our providers to work with multiple people simultaneously so that more people can receive services at one time, which reduces cost to our clients. We also know that individuals have so much to offer each other, and the circle format allows people to gain support and knowledge from both the facilitator and the other group members. It is an incredible opportunity for connection around shared life experiences. We are always developing new programming and currently have circles for mental health therapists, working moms, stressed college students, and people with chronic pain.
What makes Hello Mental Health unique?
We lead with our hearts and value humans above everything else. Yes, this practice is a business, but we operate in a way that prioritizes our staff’s wellbeing and our clients’ progress over the bottom line.
Is there anything new on the horizon?
Corporate partnerships! We are passionate about reducing stigma and improving workplace mental health and there’s no better place to address it than in the office. We are developing customizable wellness programming and will host specialized Hello Circles to meet the needs of each specific work environment.
We are also launching assessment services focused on diagnostic clarification. We have highly skilled psychologists who will provide psychological testing for clients who have struggled to receive an accurate diagnosis.
