Hello Mental Health Is Moving!

We are so excited to share that our practice is moving to a beautiful new space in Mt. Auburn!

When I started my solo practice in 2016 I rented an office in a historic home in Mt. Auburn that was filled with fantastic therapists who “showed me the ropes” of private practice. In addition to offering individual therapy, I ran a Dialectical Behavior Therapy group with a colleague from graduate school, Dr. Nikki Winchester (this will make sense by the end…). I dreamt of owning such a gorgeous space but thought it was a pipe dream and when I was ready to pursue private practice full-time I purchased the building that became Good Therapy.

Good Therapy was exactly what I hoped it would be- a calming place with lovely therapists that allowed me to find my place in the therapy world. I grew my practice from 1 to 5 AMAZING therapists and rented out space to other therapists who began as colleagues and are now dear friends. For the past 6 years Nikki and I have continued to run our therapy group together and 2 years ago she launched her own practice, Cincinnati Center for DBT. Everything was going well, and I was perfectly content in this space when opportunity came knowing…

About a month ago I heard that the historic house in Mt. Auburn where I first launched my practice was going for sale and my heart leapt. That same day I was running the group with Nikki and I mentioned that the space was going for sale and immediately she responded “ll buy it with you.” A whirlwind of activity ensued and as of April 21st Nikki and I are the proud owners of 126 Wellington Place. We are returning the place it all started.

Renovations are well under way and Hello Mental Health’s new home will be at 126 Wellington Place Cincinnati, OH 45219 as of May 30th, 2022. It is a place with long history in the mental health community and we are honored to continue its legacy. I look forward to welcoming you into our new space and trust you will enjoy it as much as I have.
